Despite its size, Koh Phi Phi Don has some perfect places to eat. We spent a week there and would like to introduce you to our favourites.
Acqua Restaurant Phi Phi
Acqua offers a mix of Thai and Western, rather high-priced but delicious cuisine. Also, highly recommended for breakfast!
Annas Restaurant
When we went to Anna's for dinner, we got homesick, so we ate schnitzel and bolognese. It felt like a piece of home.
The Mango Garden
We went to the Mango Garden twice. Addiction has to be satisfied. Be sure to try the Mango Waffles. One of the best mangoes we ate on our trip. Our smoothies and Italian sodas were also delicious.
Cosmic
Cosmic has an extensive menu of delicious European dishes at reasonable prices. Natalie had Mango Sticky Rice, and I had a pizza with ham and mushrooms.
Patchareebakery
It is the hotspot for breakfast on Koh Phi Phi. If you want a table, you must get lucky or come early. The Bakery is trendy and offers a wide range of beautiful dishes for a small price to suit all tastes. We were especially blown away by the smoothie bowl.
Italiano Pizzeria Restaurant
Pizza and pasta! We like to go out for Italian food often. Two Italians run the restaurant, and you can tell. The menu is relatively small, as in an excellent Italian restaurant. But that's probably why every single dish tastes good.
Atom Resto
Italian again, and superbly good again. Atom Resto is a new restaurant on Koh Phi Phi. That's why it doesn't have so many reviews yet. Regarding the quality of our food, it is the number 1 restaurant on Koh Phi Phi.
Tonsai Village Market
What would a Thai island be without a food market? There is also a small one on this island. If you want to eat locally, well, and cheaply, the Tonsai Village Market is the place to go. Here you can also quickly get in touch with other backpackers.
Madame Crêpe
A good dessert should not be missing. Desserts in restaurants often cost almost as much as the main course, so it's good if you can visit one of the many food stalls. For example, Madame Crêpe has a delicious snack for in-between meals or a cheap dessert after dinner.
If you'd like to wind down after a delicious meal, you can enjoy some nightlife on Koh Phi Phi.
Slinky Bar
Slinky is the bar where backpackers meet to drink a Chang or Bucket or two in the evening. A fire show starts in front of the bar at 10 pm, with local artists juggling burning sticks and throwing them at each other. Sometimes even over the crowd.
